Hemp Seed Flour Chocolate Chunk Cookies

  • 125 g butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essense
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cup quinoa flour (or white flour)
  • 1/4 cup new hemisphere Hemp Seed Flour
  • 160 g dark chocolate


  • Cream butter and both sugars for at least 10 minutes, then beet in condensed milk and vanilla essence
  • Measure flours and sift three times to aerate, then add baking powder and baking soda
  • Lightly beat egg with a small amount of sifted flour so the mixture doesn't curdle
  • Fold in flour in parts, then break up chocolate into small chunks and combine gently.
  • Chill dough for 3-4 hours
  • Preheat oven to 180 degree on bake.
  • Roll mixture into balls (approximately 2 tbsp) and place on a lined tray evenly spaced
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes on the tray before transferring to a cooling rack
