Hemp Seed Anzac Biscuits

A Hemp spin on a traditional kiwi favourite.

  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup new hemisphere Hemp Seed Hulled
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup coconut thread
  • 1 cup flour
  • 125 g butter
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp boiling water
  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees on Bake
  2. Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Make a well
  3. Melt butter and golden syrup on a low heat. Add dissolved baking soda and boiling water. Add wet mixture (in well) to the dry ingredients and mix together gently
  4. Roll a tablespoon of mixture into a ball and place on a lined oven tray. Repeat with remaining mixture, placing evenly apart so the biscuits have room to spread. Flatten with a fork
  5. Bake for 12-16 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes before removing from tray to a cooling rack
  6. Store in airtight container
