Hemp Seed Anzac Biscuits
A Hemp spin on a traditional kiwi favourite.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup new hemisphere Hemp Seed Hulled
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup coconut thread
- 1 cup flour
- 125 g butter
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees on Bake
- Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Make a well
- Melt butter and golden syrup on a low heat. Add dissolved baking soda and boiling water. Add wet mixture (in well) to the dry ingredients and mix together gently
- Roll a tablespoon of mixture into a ball and place on a lined oven tray. Repeat with remaining mixture, placing evenly apart so the biscuits have room to spread. Flatten with a fork
- Bake for 12-16 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes before removing from tray to a cooling rack
- Store in airtight container
