Banana Hemp Seed Loaf
A delicious twist on an old banana favourite
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1/4 cup potato starch
- 1/4 cup tapioca flour
- 1 cup new hemisphere™ Hemp Seed Hulled
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup banana, mashed (approximately 2-3 bananas
- 2/3 cup coconut oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- new hemisphere™ Hemp Seed Oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius Bake.
- Grease and line the base and sides of a loaf tin (11x20cm).
- Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl including the new hemisphere™ Hemp Seed Hulled.
- Combine the mashed banana, oil, whisked eggs, and maple syrup in a medium mixing bowl.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients and gently fold in the wet mixture.
- Spoon into prepared loaf tin and smooth the surface with a spatula.
- Bake for 1 hour or until a skewer/knife inserted in the centre comes out clean.
- Cool for 5 minutes before removing onto a chopping board.
- Slice thickly and enjoy with butter or a drizzle of new hemisphere™ Hemp Seed Oil.
