Banana Hemp Seed Loaf

A delicious twist on an old banana favourite

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1/4 cup potato starch
  • 1/4 cup tapioca flour
  • 1 cup new hemisphere™ Hemp Seed Hulled
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup banana, mashed (approximately 2-3 bananas
  • 2/3 cup coconut oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • new hemisphere™ Hemp Seed Oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius Bake.
  • Grease and line the base and sides of a loaf tin (11x20cm).
  • Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl including the new hemisphere™ Hemp Seed Hulled.
  • Combine the mashed banana, oil, whisked eggs, and maple syrup in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Make a well in the dry ingredients and gently fold in the wet mixture.
  • Spoon into prepared loaf tin and smooth the surface with a spatula.
  • Bake for 1 hour or until a skewer/knife inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  • Cool for 5 minutes before removing onto a chopping board.
  • Slice thickly and enjoy with butter or a drizzle of new hemisphere™ Hemp Seed Oil.
